What days is the Museum open?

The Museum is open every day of the week, Sunday through Saturday, and closed on some major Holidays. Please visit Hours and Admission for details.

What are your hours and admission prices?

We are open from seven days a week open from 9:30am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday and from 10:00am - 5:00pm Saturday and Sunday. On Mondays, November through January, we are offering free admission during our regular hours. Admission is $30 for Adults; $23 for Students (with valid ID) Seniors, Educators, and Military; $18 for children ages 4-13; Children 3 and under are free.

Is there parking at the Museum?

Unfortunately, there is no parking on site. We do, however, validate for a number of lots within walking distance. Please visit Parking and Direction.

I’m an educator and want to bring my students to the Museum. Can I schedule a tour?

I’m bringing a large group to the Museum, should I call ahead?

Yes, please inform the Museum in advance if you plan to bring a large group.

Is photography allowed?

Photography for personal use only is allowed at the Museum unless otherwise noted in a special exhibit. The Museum does not allow tripods, monopods, video equipment, or selfie sticks in the galleries.Photo shoots and filming must be cleared with Museum staff, and are subject to venue rental fees. Please contact the Museum for more information.

Like many museums, volunteers are a core part of our team – and we are thrilled by your interest! You can review the process for becoming a volunteer here.

I want to exhibit my artwork at the Museum. Can I submit a portfolio?

The Museum considers outside applications, but determines selection on an internal schedule. You can learn more about applying here.

I am interested in becoming an Artist-in-Residence. Can I apply?

The Museum selects an Artist-in-Residence bi-annually, once in the Spring and once in the Fall. You can learn more about applying here.

I’m interested in exploring behind-the-scenes. Does the Museum open its collection to the public?

The Museum may choose to open its collection to students and scholars working at the collegiate level, with a highly articulated research focus. General interest will not warrant access. 

I’m interested in exploring the Museum’s library and rare books collection. How can I get access?

The Museum may choose to open its collection to students and scholars working at the collegiate level, with a highly articulated research focus. General interest will not warrant access.
